Winners of the best dressed vehicles will be announced at 8pm on 17th St. Beach at our evening BONFIRE
Registration Fees: $5 if registered & paid in advance. $10 if registered & paid day of event. There will be registration available the day of the event from 10am to 1pm. 4×4 vehicles only no AWD no 4×4 permit required.

I agree to abide by the rules and regulations for 4X4 wheel drive vehicles as adopted by the City in all related ordinances and to the laws and directions of the City of Brigantine Police Department or other such official representatives of the City as are authorized to enforce the rules and regulations of the City concerning use of vehicles on the beach. I further agree that I will hold the City harmless, and that I will defend and indemnify the City in the event of any claim, loss, damage, suit or any other cost incurred by the City arising out of the operation by myself or such persons as shall have my permis¬sion to operate the named vehicle on the beach area of the City of Brigantine. Parade participants agree that these requirements have been read and understood in order to take part in the parade.

The Brigantine Beach Festival of the Winds – 6/15/13
Come down to the 38th street beach in beautiful Brigantine for some pre Father’s day kite flying fun on Saturday, June 15, 2013.
The South Jersey Kite Flyers will have a variety of kites in the air and will be happy to help everyone fly there own kites. There will be contests for the young and old.
Wind Sprint – Contestants stand on a line and launch their kites in the air without moving from the line. Whomever’s kite crosses the finish line 100 yards away first is the winner of the competition.
Best Homemade Kite (Youth and Adult) – Judges will determine the best homemade kite based on construction, framing, and flight. The kite must be able to fly of a minimum of 5 minutes.
Most Unusual Kite (Youth and Adult) – Entries are judged on theme, construction and design. Judges will look for odd, striking or novel features and shapes.
Crowd Favorite Kite – Audience response will determine the crowd’s favorite kite flying during the day.
Steadiest Kite (with or without a tail) (Youth and Adult) – Winning kite is the least active kite in the air.
Strongest Pulling Kite – Each kite’s pull will be measured in pounds.
Smallest Kite – Entries must fly on 25 feet of line and fly higher than the point of mooring.
Largest Kite – Square footage of the sail area will determine the largest kite. Kite Trains are not allowed. Kites must be capable of flying for one minute to qualify. Contestants are limited to three attempts in this event.
Oldest and Youngest Kite Fliers – Awards will be presented to the oldest and youngest event contestants. Contestants must fly a kite unassisted to be eligible for this award.

Hooked on Fishing 2013 – Saturday July 27th
Once again, Hooked on Fishing, not Drugs, is back on Brigantine Beach. This annual event for children 6 to 15 year olds will be held on July 27th, on the beach at 16th Street.
Registration starts at 08:00 AM. T-shirts for all participants and free fishing rods for the first 100 to sign up. Prizes and lunch will be provided. There will also be a water rescue demonstration by the US Coast Guard. Event Sponsored by the Brigantine Municipal Alliance & the Association of Surf Anglers Clubs.

The 2013 Brigantine Beach Sand Castle Building Contest
The 4th Annual Ashore Realty Amateur Sand Castle Building Contest will take place Saturday, August 10th on the 14th street south beach in Brigantine. Registration is FREE and will start at 11:00. Building will be from 11:00 to 3:00. There will be lots of great prizes, trophies, music and fun. There will be four age categories……

Family category.
First, Second and Third prizes will be awarded for each.
